Sajitha has more than 12 years of experience with a certification body dealing with organic and other sustainable standards. She was working as Certification Coordinator in the certification body . She is also a qualified auditor for Rainforest Alliance, UTZ and organic according to NPOP, NOP and EU standards. She was also associated with Foundation for Organic Agriculture and Rural Development for implementation of various organic projects, including setting up of model organic farm at district agricultural farms of Kerala. She was also a part of Centre for Environment Education as Project officer for the Field level implementation of sustainable livelihood projects. She also has work experience with SRIJAN , NGO based in Bangalore for Laisoning with Govt. departments for various rural projects in Karnataka. She is basically a graduate in Agricultural Engineering from Kerala Agricultural University and has completed her Post Graduation in Post-Harvest Engineering from IIT Kharagpur.
